About Lunar Dusk
The principal aspiration behind Lunar Dusk is to use music as a creative platform to highlight awareness and stimulate positive change, in a world where we feel many important problems and issues seemingly remain ignored and permanently unaddressed.

The music subsequently maintains an attitude spawned through negative views on global issues such as the state of the world, global corruption, religion, politics, poverty and global wealth distribution, media propaganda and self agenda, corporate and personal greed, environmental abuse and associated ignorance, government atrocities, exploitation of people and natural resources, military conflict and the music industry, in close collaboration with the darkling and alternative sub-cultures.

We believe in peace, global equality and opportunity for all; one world, one race.

Disillusioned with the mainstream music industry, Lunar Dusk also aspires to take the business/factory processed element out of music, and to write music that was not written with the specific ambition to fit any kind of mainstream trend or written with the primary objective of making money.

We firmly believe that music is a form of expressive, performance art, and not simply a bar-coded product!

Currently Lunar Dusk is a solo act, however, this may change in the future.


History
Lunar Dusk was created in South London, United Kingdom in January 2009 by guitarist Aerial out of the ashes of former London based industrial / dark electronic / gothic band Cryptonic Love Revival (1998-2009).

With the demise of CLR, Aerial decided to continue with his own music in a more guitar based direction, while maintaining the same attitude and aspirations.

Over the last 3 years, the main focus was with building a dedicated new recording studio, and like most small, unknown musicians, sustaining a balance between working full-time in a regular job and working on music.

I also created a dark electro / gothic / alternative side project called Lunar Crypt, to provide an outlet for more electronic based material, and electronic remixes of Lunar Dusk songs.


Current and future
Having decided to self-produce, and with the successful completion of building a small, yet modern recording studio, Lunar Dusk is currently in the process of writing new material, with the primary focus on releasing a debut album with accompanying live performances.

I have always planned for Lunar Dusk to be a dedicated live/touring act, and I am looking forward to releasing new songs and performing my debut gig as soon as space-time permits!
